Keep documents that show your basic pension number — take them home基礎年金番号がわかる書類(通知書・年金手帳)を持ち帰る
Want the tax refund later? Prepare a tax agent (nozei kanrinin) before you leave税金の還付を受けたい場合は、出国前に納税管理人を準備
How to claim請求のしかた
Get the claim form from the Japan Pension Service (available in Nepali and many languages)日本年金機構の請求書(ネパール語ほか多言語あり)
Prepare: passport copy, document showing a bank account in your name, document showing your basic pension numberパスポートのコピー/本人名義口座の確認書類/基礎年金番号がわかる書類
Send by mail to the Japan Pension Service — or use the online application日本年金機構へ郵送、または電子申請
Payment usually arrives about 4 months after an accepted claim受付から振込までの目安は約4か月
